This week turned out to be rich in announcements of new Chinese smartphones. First, Xiaomi presented the POCO M4 Pro 5G, then the Realme Q3T debuted, and now a new product from Vivo has appeared on the market. The new model became part of the Vivo Y series and was named Vivo Y76s 5G. This is a mid-range device based on the MediaTek chipset, with a cool camera and fast charging.
The heart of the Vivo Y76s 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, which is complemented by 8 GB of RAM, expandable by another 4 GB due to the built-in storage. A liquid cooling system is provided for efficient heat dissipation from the processor. The amount of built-in memory, depending on the selected version, is 128 or 256 GB. There is also support for microSD memory cards with a maximum capacity of 1 TB.
Almost the entire front panel of the new smartphone is occupied by a 6.58-inch LCD-display with Full HD + resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz sampling rate and a notch on top for the front camera with an 8-megapixel sensor. On the back, in a rectangular module, a dual main camera is installed, consisting of a main 50-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel camera with a macro lens. The device is powered by a 4100 mAh rechargeable battery with 44-watt fast charging via the USB Type-C port. The rest of the specs of the new Vivo smartphone include a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, a fingerprint scanner in the power button on the side, and support for 5G.
The smartphone is wrapped in a 7.79 mm thick body and weighs 175 grams. It is offered in three colors: white, black and blue.
In China, the Vivo Y76s will go on sale starting at 1,799 yuan, or about $ 280 for the base version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you pay 200 yuan on top, you get a top-end version with doubled storage. When and at what price the new product will appear on the world market is still unknown.
