According to insiders, Samsung is preparing to release its new tablet called the Galaxy Tab S8 FE. As the name implies, it will be a «lightweight» version of the yet-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 flagship tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is expected to be announced early next year, and its FE version will hit the market in the fourth quarter of next year. It will be based on a proprietary Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset or on a Qualcomm Snapdragon series chip (depending on the sales region). It will be powered by a 10,090 mAh battery with a 45-watt charger. The top model Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will get a 14.6-inch OLED panel with a frequency of 120 Hz and a fingerprint scanner built into the display. It will have up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal memory. It is also credited with dual front cameras and a giant 12,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
