The Chinese brand Realme, which is rapidly gaining popularity, is preparing a new smartphone for release. And today the head of the Indian division of Realme Madhav Sheth told what kind of new product it will be.

The brand’s next smartphone will be called Realme 8s. It will be the world’s first smartphone powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 810 processor, which is rumored to deliver high performance and energy efficiency. The launch of the new smartphone is scheduled for next Wednesday, August 8th. On the same day, the company will release another device. It will be the Realme 8i based on the MediaTek Helio G96 4G chipset.
Realme 8s will be a mid-range model with 5G support. It will receive a large display with a 16 megapixel front camera embedded in the upper left corner of the display. The diagonal of the screen will be 6.5 inches, and the refresh rate will be 90 Hz. A 64-megapixel main camera will be installed at the rear with several additional sensors. On the side will be the power button with a built-in fingerprint scanner for quick and secure unlocking. For the autonomous work of the new Realme, a 5000 mAh battery with a 33 W fast charge function will be responsible. He will also receive a USB Type-C port for charging and a classic 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones. The smartphone will be offered in configurations with 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory. At the same time, he will receive support for the new function of expanding RAM — it can be increased by 5 GB. The device will be delivered with the mobile operating system Android 11 and the proprietary shell Realme UI 2.0 on board.
As a reminder, the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset was presented on August 11. It is manufactured using a 6-nanometer manufacturing process and includes an eight-core Cortex-A76 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz. The platform has the MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 game engine, which will provide users with an immersive gaming experience through optimization and intelligent load management.
