On Monday, September 6, Nubia, a sub-brand of the Chinese company ZTE, held a presentation, the main theme of which was the updated gaming smartphone Red Magic 6S Pro. But in addition to the smartphone, which we talked about earlier, a new smartwatch called Red Magic Watch Vitality Edition was presented at the event. It’s smaller and cheaper than the Red Magic Watch released earlier this year.
The Red Magic Watch Vitality Edition features a 1.19-inch display instead of the original’s 1.39-inch display. But it’s still a round AMOLED panel with support for Always On Display. The new watch turned out to be not only more compact, but also lighter than the usual Red Magic Watch — 23 grams versus 30 grams. Like most modern smartwatches, the novelty is equipped with various sensors to monitor the health and physical activity of the user and supports several sports modes.
The new Nubia Red Magic Watch Vitality Edition smartwatch will go on sale shortly for $ 77. For comparison, the original Red Magic Watch cost about $ 100. Customers can choose from two color options for new smart watches: black and silver.
In addition to the smartphone and smartwatch at yesterday’s presentation, Nubia presented a number of accessories and external devices. These are not only new themed T-shirts with the Red Magic logo, but also an external Red Magic power supply with a capacity of 10,000 mAh, a GaN3 four-port 65W charger and a Red Magic G1 game controller. The launch date and cost of these devices have not yet been announced.
