The Australian mobile operator has announced the imminent launch of the Pixel 6 series on its official Facebook page. Our colleagues from Gizchina believe that the specified number is the date of the official announcement of the new generation of Pixel smartphones. If so, then we’ll see the successors of the Pixel 5 series in less than a month, on Tuesday October 19th, which is quite in line with the standard update schedule.
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be the first devices on the market to ship with the Android 12 mobile operating system preinstalled on board. In addition to the next generation of Pixel reference smartphones, Google is preparing to launch its first foldable smartphone, known to us as the Pixel Fold.
