On Wednesday, September 8th, the Chinese company Lenovo announced two new tablets that are perfect for both entertainment and serious work. So, meet, Lenovo Tab P12 Pro and Tab P11 5G, the first tablets of the brand with support for cellular networks of the fifth generation.
This is a more powerful model than the previously released Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, since the novelty is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 sub-flagship chipset, which has 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The tablet has a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 by 1600 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16 to 10 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The tablet itself is clad in an all-metal case with a thickness of only 5.63 mm and weighs 565 g, and together with a full-size keyboard with built-in trackpad, the construction weighs just under a kilogram. The device is powered by a 10 200 mAh battery with support for 45 W fast charging. And the novelty works under the control of the mobile operating system Android 11 with the Project Unity system, which allows you to connect the tablet to a PC on Windows 10 or 11, using it as an additional display. On top of that, there are four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos and Lenovo Premium Audio support.
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro will go on sale this fall in two versions: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 5G. The cost of the first in North America starts at $ 610, and the second will go on sale in Europe, Africa and the Middle East at a price of 900 euros.
If the aforementioned model seems too expensive for you, then look towards the Lenovo Tab P11 5G. For € 500, you get a 5G tablet with an 11-inch IPS LCD display with 2000 x 1200 pixels and 60Hz refresh rate. Inside it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The tablet, like its older brother, supports work with a stylus and a removable keyboard and has a USB Type-C port with DisplayPort support. There are also four JBL speakers with Dolby Atmos and a 7,700mAh battery with 20W charging.
Lenovo Tab P11 5G is offered in three colors and weighs only 520 grams. Its sales in Europe, Africa and the Middle East will start in October.
