HONOR

HONOR, which spun off from the Chinese company Huawei at the end of last year into an independent brand, is actively expanding its range and regularly releases new smartphones. Not so long ago, she introduced the HONOR X20 series of smartphones, which included two smartphones — the advanced X20 5G and the affordable X20 SE. And soon a third model will join them. It will be the HONOR X20 Max. One of the main features of the novelty, as the name implies, will be a giant display. Looking ahead, let’s say that earlier devices with similar screens were equated with compact tablets, but now, thanks to the frameless design, the HONOR X20 Max can be considered a smartphone from the phablet category.

According to insiders, the new HONOR X20 series boasts a huge 7.2-inch display and a giant 6,000mAh battery. On the back, it will have a round camera module reminiscent of the popular Oreo cookies, just like the HONOR X20 5G unveiled in early August. The basis of the novelty, according to rumors, will be the eight-core Dimensity 1100 chipset from MediaTek. The rest of the technical characteristics of the new smartphone of the Chinese brand remained behind the scenes.

It is worth noting that the HONOR X20 Max will be the successor to the HONOR X10 Max smartphone released last summer, which was equipped with a 7.1-inch display. In fact, the novelty will receive the largest screen of all smartphones in the HONOR lineup.

The question remains not only about the timing of the HONOR X20 Max launch and its retail value, but also whether it will be available outside of China. The fact is that most of the new smartphones of the Chinese brand are released exclusively for the Chinese market.
