The Chinese company HONOR, which spun off from its parent Huawei last year into a separate independent brand, is preparing to launch its new smartphone. It will be the Pro version of the released entry-level smartphone HONOR Play 20. The novelty has already been lit up on the web, thanks to which we became aware of its features.
According to the leaked information, the HONOR Play 20 Pro will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. But it is quite possible that it will be available in several more configurations. Customers will be offered a choice of three color options: silver, black and gradient.
One source assures that the HONOR Play 20 Pro will be based on the Unisoc brand chipset. But another insider denied this information. He also added that the new product, like the base HONOR Play 20 Pro, will be a 4G smartphone, which means that one should not count on supporting work in fifth-generation cellular networks. The cost of the new smartphone will range from 999 to 1199 yuan or from 155 to 186 US dollars at the current exchange rate. Interestingly, the original HONOR Play 20 went on sale with prices ranging from 899 to 1399 Yuan, or $ 139 to $ 217.
The detailed specs of the HONOR Play 20 Pro are kept under wraps. But it will surely be better than the original HONOR Play 20, which is based on the Unisoc Tiger T610 chipset with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, and features a 6.52-inch HD + display with a 5MP selfie sag. camera, 13-megapixel main camera with an additional 2-megapixel sensor.
