HMD Global has unveiled a new affordable smartphone under the Nokia brand. The new product, called Nokia G300, became part of the Nokia G series.
The Nokia G300 is a low-cost 5G smartphone. For just $ 200, you get a smartphone with a 6.5-inch display with HD + resolution and a V-notch on top for an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling, which, among other things, supports face recognition. The heart of the new smartphone is the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chipset with an integrated 5G modem. In addition to the 5G modem, the chip includes two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2 GHz and six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The processor is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory expandable using a microSD memory card. Everything is controlled by the Android 11 mobile operating system installed on board.

On the back of the new Nokia smartphone, a triple main camera is installed, consisting of a main sensor with a resolution of 16 megapixels, a 5-megapixel module with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera system has electronic image stabilization, night mode and the function of suppressing the so-called digital noise when shooting in low light conditions.

As for the autonomy of the Nokia G300, a 4470 mAh rechargeable battery is responsible for it. Its charge, according to the manufacturer, is enough for two days of work. The battery is charged via the USB Type-C port. The maximum charging power is 18W, which is quite good for a budget device.
The Nokia G300 is scheduled to start shipping next Tuesday, October 19th. In the US market, the official retail price of the new smartphone will be $ 200 without a contract.
