Galaxy M22 appeared on the Samsung website in Russia.

The South Korean company Samsung is preparing to release a new mid-range smartphone, which will become part of the Galaxy M series. A new product called Samsung Galaxy M22 has already appeared on the official Samsung website.

A technical support page for a new smartphone model Samsung Galaxy M22 with model number SM-M225FV / DS has appeared on the Russian Samsung website. Unfortunately, there is no information on the new product on the page. But earlier, a model with the same model number was spotted in the popular Geekbench synthetic test. There he scored 374 points in single-core mode and 1361 points in multi-core mode. This result was provided to the smartphone by the eight-core Helio G80 chipset from MediaTek in combination with 4 GB of RAM. It is controlled by the Android 11 mobile operating system, on top of which Samsung’s OneUI firmware will probably be installed.

Also recently, this smartphone was certified by the American Federal Communications Commission, or, more simply, the FCC. Thanks to this, we learned that the new product will support 25W fast charging. True, a slower 15W charger will be supplied with the smartphone. As for the battery capacity, it is rumored to be 5000 mAh.

As for the rest of the technical characteristics of the Samsung Galaxy M22, it is known that it will be equipped with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The rear of the smartphone will have a 48MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens module, a 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.

There is no information about the release time and cost of the Samsung Galaxy M22 yet. But given the appearance of the smartphone on the official Samsung website, its debut is inevitable.
