South Korean company Samsung is working on several new smartphones. One of them will be part of the Samsung Galaxy A series and will hit the market under the name Galaxy A13 5G. They first started talking about the new product back in September, and today its main technical characteristics have leaked to the Network, which means that the announcement is just around the corner.
According to insiders, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be equipped with a 6.48-inch IPS LCD panel with Full HD + resolution and a drop-shaped notch on the top for the front camera, the resolution of which is still unknown. On the back of the smartphone will be a 50-megapixel main camera paired with a 5-megapixel module with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits.
The new representative of the Samsung Galaxy A series will be based on the Dimensity 700 5G chipset from MediaTek. The amount of RAM, depending on the version chosen, will be 4, 6 or 8 GB, and the capacity of the built-in storage will be 64 or 128 GB. A 5000 mAh rechargeable battery with support for fast wired charging with a power of 25 W via the USB Type-C port is responsible for the autonomy of the smartphone. It also mentions the presence of a fingerprint scanner installed in the power button on the side.
The Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will replace the Galaxy A12 launched last year and is expected to be the cheapest fifth-generation smartphone in Samsung’s range. The cost of new items, according to sources, starts at about $ 249 for the basic configuration.
