The Chinese company Xiaomi is preparing for the release of a new flagship series, which will replace last year’s Mi 12 line. The Xiaomi 12 series will include several models and all of them will be able to boast of the most modern characteristics, including powerful charging. Even the base model Xiaomi 12 will offer super-fast charging, according to the reputable Chinese insider Digital Chat Station.
According to the source, the base version of the Xiaomi 12 will receive a large battery with support for 100W fast wired charging. If so, then Xiaomi 12 will be the first basic flagship of the Chinese brand to support such fast charging. The top-of-the-line Xiaomi 12 is rumored to support even faster charging up to 120W.
As expected, in addition to the basic version, the Xiaomi 12 series will include at least two more models with the Pro and Ultra prefixes in the name. The new flagships will be based on the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset. It will be announced as part of the Qualcomm Tech Summit 2021, which will be held from November 30 to December 2. Also, the new flagships are credited with OLED screens made using LTPO technology using low-temperature polycrystalline silicon, which will support an adaptive image refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz. Smartphones will be delivered with preinstalled MIUI 13 firmware based on Android. The official announcement of MIUI 13 is scheduled for late 2021. The base Xiaomi 12 should debut at about the same time. Other versions will appear next year.
