Redmi Note 10 Lite presented with quad camera and Snapdragon 720G

Redmi, the brand of the Chinese tech giant Xiaomi, has decided to wrap up this week with the announcement of yet another new smartphone. The novelty, dubbed Redmi Note 10 Lite, debuted in India and is in many ways similar to the previously released Redmi Note 9 Pro.

The basis of the new Redmi Note 10 Lite was the eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset, the company of which is from 4 to 6 GB of RAM and from 64 to 128 GB of internal memory. The latter can be expanded using a microSD memory card, for which a separate slot is provided.

The front of the new Redmi smartphone has a 6.67-inch display with Full HD + resolution and a small O-shaped notch for the front camera with a 16-megapixel sensor. On the back, in a rectangular block, there are four cameras: the main 48-megapixel combined with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The novelty is powered by a 5020 mAh rechargeable battery with 18W fast wired charging via a USB Type-C port. And the device is running the Android 11 mobile operating system, on top of which the proprietary MIUI 12 user interface is installed. There is also a slot for two SIM cards and support for a standard set of wireless communications, albeit without 5G.

India has been selected as the first country to start selling Redmi Note 10 Lite. There it is already available for ordering at a price of 14,000 Indian rupees or $ 190 for the basic version with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. The model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage will cost Rs 16,000 (about $ 215). And the top version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory will cost 17,000 rupees (about $ 230). When and at what price the novelty will appear in other countries, in particular, in Russia, is not specified.
