On the eve of the Celestial Empire, the presentation of Realme, which is called one of the fastest growing brands in the global mobile market, took place. The event was dedicated to the announcement of a new smartphone called Realme GT Neo2. The novelty stands as a mid-range smartphone, but some flagships can envy its technical characteristics.
First, we want to tell you about the internal stuffing of the Realme GT Neo2. It is built on an eight-core platform of the sub-flagship level of Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, the company of which ranges from 8 to 12 GB of RAM and from 128 to 256 GB of internal memory. Unfortunately, there is no possibility of expanding the internal memory using a microSD memory card. For efficient heat dissipation from the processor, a cooling system with a steam chamber, graphene sheet and a special cooling gel is provided. The smartphone is powered by a built-in 5000 mAh battery. It supports 65W fast charging technology, which, according to Realme, takes less than 36 minutes to fully charge your smartphone. Everything is controlled by the Android 11 mobile operating system, on top of which the proprietary Realme UI 2.0 shell is installed.
Now we propose to move on to the internal equipment of the new Realme smartphone. At the front, it has a 6.62-inch AMOLED panel manufactured by Samsung. It has a resolution of 2400 by 1080 pixels at an aspect ratio of 20: 9 and supports an image refresh rate up to 120 Hz and a touch layer sampling rate up to 600 Hz. Peak panel brightness is 1300 nits. An optical fingerprint reader is integrated into the screen for fast and secure unlocking. A small O-shaped notch can be seen in the upper left corner of the screen. It is designed for a 16 megapixel front camera. Three more cameras are installed on the back of the smartphone. It is a 64MP main camera complemented by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module and a 2MP macro camera. Other features of the novelty are stereo speakers, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack for headphones, as well as support for NFC, 5G and other standard wireless connections.
In China, the start of sales of the Realme GT Neo2 is scheduled for next Monday, September 27th. It will be available starting at RMB 2,400, or about $ 370 at current exchange rates. Customers are offered a choice of three body colors, including an unusual mint with black inserts.
