The Chinese company OnePlus is preparing to release a new flagship series. It will include several models, including the top version called OnePlus 10 Pro, the characteristics of which have already leaked to the Web.
Journalist and informant Steve Hemmerstoffer, also known under the pseudonym OnLeaks, shared the first renderings of the OnePlus 10 Pro, and also revealed the main specifications of the new product. According to him, the new smartphone will be based on the yet unannounced flagship eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which will have from 8 to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM. For data storage, a built-in UFS 3.1 class drive with a capacity of 128 to 256 GB will be provided, depending on the version chosen.
On the front, the OnePlus 10 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. In the upper left corner, you can see a small O-shaped hole — this is where the front camera with a 32-megapixel sensor is hidden. As for the main camera of the new smartphone, it will consist of a main 48-megapixel module, a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel module with a lens for 3.3x optical zoom.
Autonomous operation of the new OnePlus smartphone will be provided by a built-in rechargeable battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Nothing is known about the charging speed yet, but we hope that its power will be at least 50 or 65 watts. It is also reported that the OnePlus 10 Pro case will be protected from dust and moisture in accordance with the IP68 standard.
The flagship OnePlus 10 series is rumored to debut in China as early as late January or early February 2022. And it will be released on the world market a couple of months later, approximately in April.
