Moto E40 Revealed: 90Hz Display And 48MP Camera

Last week, Motorola unveiled the low-cost entry-level Moto E20, powered by Android 11 Go Edition. And now Motorola is preparing another model for the company called Moto E40. Evan Blass, better known under the pseudonym Evleaks, spoke about the new product, the announcement of which will take place in the near future. He revealed all the key characteristics of the future smartphone.

According to an insider, Moto E40 will be based on a kind of eight-core processor, the model of which has not been specified. It is quite possible that this is the same Unisoc T606 chip that is installed inside the Moto E20. I must say that this processor, despite its low popularity, is not so bad. It includes two high-performance Cortex-A75 cores and six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. The front of the new smartphone will have a 6.5-inch panel with HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The device will most likely run a full version of Android, since Android Go does not support smartphones with such high refresh rates. On the back of the smartphone, there will be a triple main camera with a main 48-megapixel sensor. The characteristics of the other two modules are not yet known, but most likely it will be a combination of a macro camera and a depth sensor or an ultra wide-angle camera and a depth sensor.

Interestingly, judging by the disclosed specifications, the Moto E40 is very similar to the previously released Moto G20, which is based on the Unisoc T700 chip and is equipped with a 6.5-inch display with HD + resolution and a refresh rate of 90 Hz, as well as a quad camera with a 48 megapixel main sensor. on the back panel.

The exact release date of the Moto E40 is still unknown to us. But there is no doubt that it will be announced in the coming weeks.
