Half a million in an hour: Redmi Note 11 series hits record sales

At the end of October, the Chinese company Xiaomi announced the long-awaited Redmi Note 11 series of smartphones, which included three models. And it is not surprising that the new items aroused increased public interest. This is confirmed by the results of the first flash sale.

Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 11 series sold over 500,000 units in just an hour. This number includes not only the base Redmi Note 11, but also the top-end Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Since Xiaomi has sold the entire first batch of smartphones, they are not yet available for purchase. When the next wave of sales will take place, the manufacturer does not specify. But, most likely, the second flash sale of Redmi Note 11 will take place closer to November 11, known as bachelor’s day in China. On this day, grandiose sales are held in the Celestial Empire.

Recall that the cost of Redmi Note 11 starts at 1199 yuan or $ 185. For that amount, you get the base model based on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset and a 6.6-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 33W fast charge battery. The Pro and Pro + models are more expensive, but they offer a more powerful Dimensity 920 chipset from MediaTek, a cool quad camera, and the Pro + version also boasts 120W ultra-fast charging.
