Features of the first OPPO tablet revealed

The coronavirus pandemic, which has led to a massive shift to remote work and distance learning, has literally breathed life into the tablet market, which was previously predicted to be forgotten. And it’s no surprise that more and more manufacturers are looking to capitalize on the growing demand for tablets. For example, the Chinese company Xiaomi recently returned to the release of tablets after a long break, releasing two tablets at once: Mi Pad 5 and Mi Pad 5 Pro. And soon another manufacturer from China will join the tablet race. Yes, we are talking about OPPO.

The well-known Chinese insider Digital Chat Station on his page on the social network Weibo (analogous to Twitter) confirmed that OPPO is preparing to release its first tablet computer and even revealed some of its key features and design. Externally, it will be similar to the previously released MatePad Pro tablet from Huawei and will receive a display of exactly the same size — 12.6 inches diagonally. The device will work under the control of the Android mobile operating system with a special version of the proprietary ColorOS user interface installed on top, specially adapted for tablets. The software platform will receive widgets and the function of continuous work with smartphones, smart watches and wireless headphones from the brand.

As for the rest of the technical characteristics of the first OPPO tablet, they are still kept secret, however, as well as the cost and timing of the release of the new item. But something tells us that OPPO will not postpone the announcement of the tablet on the back burner and will show it in the coming months.
